Chapter 4: Singyamekhvildra
Singyama felt that something was wrong, so the moment Ansell opened the portal to Chumbiksirinish after the battle with the tukhtaashes, she used invisibility magic and entered after him. She had been with him all this time, and he had not seen or felt her. She could barely restrain herself from getting into a fight on Malderfir, but she had to remain careful. Flamisla played the role of the disgruntled daughter and Singyama pretended to be a good daughter who honors her father, and she succeeded. But if Ansell showed up at Chumbiksirinish and saw that Flamisla was the only one there, he would obviously suspect something...
“I’ll cut his cock off and roast it and make him eat it!” Laylith was furious. The half-elf girl calmed down, then got angry again, and then talked loudly about how she’d kill the First. Singyama watched them for a long time. It wasn’t a trap. The unfortunate girls are indeed in slavery to this... father. Father? A monster, a mentally ill alien, a creature that has lost touch with reality because of its power.
“He’s not my father!” Singyama said and dispelled the magic of illusion, and looked at the stunned girls. “No, Laylith, you won’t do it, my sister and I will have to cut off his cock.”
“What?! Where did you come from?” Laylith asked.
“Who are you?” Tannah asked.
Laylith studied her. Singyama remained silent and smiled.
“She is an askaldenfirst!” Laylith shouted cheerfully.
“So she’s Ansell’s daughter?” Nella asked with horror.
“He’s not my father!” Singyama said angrily, and began to cast a spell. The chains of the magical metal shackles began to split and fall and the girls were freed.
“How long have you been here?” Laylith asked unceremoniously, staring at her.
“I’ve been here since your capture, Laylith. I stayed to watch you, and before that I was watching him.”
“Stayed to watch... So you saw that bastard raping Nella? And you did nothing?” Laylith asked.
“Ermirian child, I understand your indignation, but you also understand mine. I woke up recently, remembering who I am and what I have to do, and then I found out that my whole life is a fiction, that the Firsts are not gods, but aliens from another planet. My sister and I secretly agreed, secretly from this “bastard”, as you call him, that we would play our part to find out who he pretends to be. We didn’t believe his story. But it seemed to be true. And imagine my surprise when such a being, powerful and strong, turns out to be some kind of primitive rapist. As an askaldenfirst, it’s hard to surprise me, but this surprised me more than the story of minerals, alien invaders on this planet who turned out to be our creators, more than my own puppet fate. As I stared at this violent madness, I couldn’t get rid of the feeling that he guessed that I was watching him, and that he was playing me with illusions of insane horror. But when I finally realized that this was real, I decided to dispel the magic of invisibility.”
“Now we need to get out of here,” Laylith said. Singyama’s answer seemed to suit her, and she softened.
“Don’t look at me like that, I don’t have a plan,” Singyama said. “I could look around, come up with a plan to get you out. But he could show up any minute, and while I’m looking for a way out of here, he could rape one of you again. But I made a decision, just like you, Laylith, I want to kill him, even if I die with him.”
“Let’s try to stay alive and let’s finally see what’s behind the door,” Neika said.
“I’ll go first,” Bertha suddenly said.
“As you wish,” Laylith said and let her pass in front of herself and Singyama.
Bertha opened the door and stepped out, followed by Singyama. A wide spiral staircase appeared in front of them, going high, and it was impossible to see where it ended.
“It’s a tower,” Kansifa said in surprise.
“Only very wide,” Neika said.
“And tall,” Laylith added.
“If there are no doors on this floor, it means that we’re in a dungeon, so there must be a way out somewhere upstairs,” Rshana suggested.
Bertha moved cautiously forward up the stairs, Singyama walking almost beside her. A little lower down, Laylith was climbing the stairs, while the others carefully kept behind the half-elf. Suddenly Bertha stepped on something, and there was a click, and a second later holes appeared along the entire plane of the step where Amalibertha’s foot was standing, from which jets of fire instantly began to erupt. Bertha caught fire and started screaming. Singyama pushed Laylith, the half-elf fell on the steps and rolled away, knocking Kansifa and Rshana down. Singyama cast a fire extinguishing spell, but it was too late.
Ellanella sobbed and fell on the steps.
“Now I’ll go up first, and you keep your distance,” the askaldenfirst said, “Gir Gind Fran Ell Dak Mar,” she cast the spell of the daughters of the Firsts, and created a powerful dome barrier that prevented any physical or magical attacks both inside and outside the dome.
“Rakhom Kus Kadukh!” Laylith uttered, and a fire spear appeared in her hands.
“Come on, get up,” Kansifa gently tried to lift Nella up. “We’ll grieve later.”
“Kiyal Farus Fiyas Dracal!” suddenly uttered Ellia and a fireball flew toward Singyama and crashed into her dome. Singyama turned around with a bewildered expression on her face. “I’m sorry, I thought someone was there,” Ellia said and made an apologetic grimace.
Singyama continued to climb the stairs cautiously… And then she stepped on the same mechanism as Bertha. Only now, when the mechanism worked, an ice vortex began to form from the holes, designed to freeze the careless fugitive. The vortex did not extend beyond the steps, partially spreading to two or three above and below. Singyama waited for the vortex on the step to subside, and then pressed her foot on the step again in different places, but nothing else happened. She turned around, looked at the girls and nodded to them, and moved on.
It took Singyama a while to climb, and she had already passed five fire traps and three ice traps. And so, climbing higher and higher, she finally stepped into another trap, already wondering whether it would be an ice vortex or fire, but the mechanism worked differently. Green smoke began to emerge from the holes, it took the form of a green cloud and, tried to break through the dome, but it failed.
“Kiyal Farus Fiyas Dracal!” Ellia uttered again...
“No!” Singyama shouted. But it was too late, the fireball crashed into a cloud of green smoke and there was a powerful explosion that threw the askaldenfirst and the girls down. The explosion tore through part of the tower and collapsed the stairs.
A strong wind blew. Singyama looked around. The explosion hit her dome, and as she was thrown back, the girls were just thrown back by the blast wave.
All of the girls rose up. The mother of dragons heard a groan, and she saw that Ellia’s arm was damaged, broken because of the tower stone that had flown off and hit her. And Singyama cast a spell of healing wounds. The girl’s arm had fully recovered.
“Is anyone else hurt?” askaldenfirst asked. No one answered, but many had minor bruises, and Singyama decided to go over to each and cast a spell of healing wounds. When she approached Laylith, the girl refused.
“Don’t waste your strength, you’ll still need it,” Laylith said, scratching her elbow.
Singyama flew up to the ruined part of the tower, a hole was formed there with a dozen huge stones flying out, but the stairs were much more seriously damaged, part of the spiral staircase several floors below completely collapsed, and when you look down, you could only see blackness.
“Ljos Sem Misr Mek Ap An Nim,” Singyama cast an askaldenfirst spell, and a bright arrow of light formed in the air flew down, and when it got stuck between the collapsed stones, it began to glow even brighter. “We are high up, but don’t worry, we can get down. I’ll carry each one of you down. Now I’m going to go outside and take a look. But I understand one thing, we are very high, somewhere in the mountains.”
“What do you see?” Laylith shouted to her.
“A semblance of clouds, something thick...” Singyama suddenly clutched at her throat and a moment later she felt her head separate from her neck, and she died.
