A Song of Askaldenfirsts and Dragons. Book one: The outlanders (Part I-IV)

Chapter 14: Falsalvgudinas

“Skarswanga, I’m tired of being your argiphone slave,” said the false mother with white hair at the roots and blue at the tips, her eyes were green.

“Heidruna, it was your idea!” Skarswanga was surprised.

“Shh, someone is flying! Reincarnating!” said falsalvgudina with purple eyes, brown hair at the roots and a pinkish tint at the tips.

And the false mothers were reincarnated as adeloirs, creatures similar to earthly squirrels, only the adeloirs were slightly larger and had horns that resemble those of earthly deer.

“It’s me,” said a woman with light brown eyes and light green hair that faded into white.

The falsalvgudinas took the form of women again.

“Unnaluga,” the woman with purple eyes was surprised, “we saw how you died! You, Alkirda, Inidricka and Flaedra have been killed by dragons!”

“Yes, sister, only the First brought me back to life,” Unnaluga said.

“The First? The creators of the askaldenfirsts? Our enemies?” Skarswanga asked.

“The First told me that they created us, but then an unknown force took away our ability to be mothers! According to the First, we would be the better mothers and would not have spawned the insane fire-breathing creatures that crawled out of askaldenfirsts wombs! Our children would have been like us! But the askaldenfirsts, using the help of an unknown powerful wizard, became mothers, and we were deprived of motherhood!” Unnaluga replied.

“Vile creatures!” shouted a woman with blue eyes, and golden hair at the roots and dark brown at the tips.

“Yes, Zagrilda, and we must destroy them!” Unnaluga said. “The First said that if we destroy all mothers and all dragons, except for the fiery one, which is still unknown how to kill, then they will be able to restore our reproductive ability! And the Firsts themselves will become fathers for our children!”

“Suspicious,” the woman said doubtfully. She was with ashy hair at the roots and reddish hair on the tips, she glared incredulously with her grey eyes.

“I understand your doubt, Gurilda, but it is our goal to destroy the scaly creatures and their mothers, am I right?”

“Yes, you’re right, it is our goal!” Gurilda agreed.

“We can’t destroy the fire dragon, and maybe we shouldn’t. He’s near Daranfullash Ocean now, but he is almost, I might say, on our side. He has already killed many of his brothers!” Unnaluga said.

“Will the First really lie down with us?” a woman with green eyes and dark blue hair at the roots and light blue at the tips asked.

“Yes, Evelanga, they will.“It will be our legacy, when the false daughters of the First and their disgusting children are destroyed, we will give birth to true sons and daughters of the First!

“Then let’s destroy them!” Skarswanga said.

“I suggest we start with the sleeping dragons and mothers on the Wall,” Unnaluga said.

“But there the ghosts!” remarked a woman with uniformly silver hair and blue eyes.

“That’s right, Ulwelfa,” said Unnaluga, “we’ll have to kill them too. The ghosts of the ancient snunorfs are enemies and we must defeat them!”

“Yes! That’s right!” said the other women.

Eight falsalvgudinas turned into snow-white argiphones and flew south to the Belt of Twilight.
