Chapter 4109
With a smirk, Raphael’s hand slid beneath Elissa’s clothing, a move he considered entirely normal for two people in a relationship.
Yet, Elissa hesitated, her reluctance palpable.
Apart from her pregnancy, she despised the relationship between Raphael and Sandra.
The mere thought of their rapport made her stomach churn with sickness.
But when Raphael persisted, she found it hard to resist.
Fear gripped her, worrying that any protest might endanger her unborn child.
Eventually, they found themselves entangled by the French window, succumbing to desire.
Raphael, mindful of Elissa’s condition, cautiously avoided putting pressure on her belly.
Instead, he sat her on his lap and held her close, finding a comfortable position for them.
As they intertwined, beads of sweat trickled down Raphael’s forehead.
Eventually, Elissa’s restraint shattered like glass, and she sunk her teeth into Raphael’s shoulder with a ferocity fueled by pure embarrassment.
“I hate you, Raphael…”
She yearned to etch his name into her mind with the same ferocity as her bite.
She put forth an extreme demand to fuel Raphael’s hatred towards her, as she no longer desired his love.
His involvement with another woman had left her feeling repulsed, causing her to no longer wish for his companionship.
When they were done, Raphael held Elissa close as they tried to catch their breath.
After a moment’s pause, the maid summoned her courage and knocked gently on the door.
“Mr.
and Mrs.
Jones, shall we serve dinner now?”
Once he had caught his breath, Raphael responded in a low voice, “We will be there in thirty minutes.
”
He listened until the sound of footsteps faded down the corridor.
Assuming the servant had left, he relaxed.
Lowering his gaze, Raphael looked at the woman cradled in his arms.
A sense of contentment washed over him, evident in the gentle tone of his voice as he spoke.
“Don’t worry about it.
I promise you that our child will be the only one to inherit the Pryor Technology.
”
Elissa was drenched in sweat.
She leaned wearily against his shoulder and murmured, “Who knows what will happen in the future! As a mother, I can’t help but worry about my child’s future.
”
Raphael’s demeanor softened as he processed her words.
He tried to lead Elissa to the bathroom, suggesting they shower together.
However, as his hand grazed her waist, he couldn’t resist whispering in her ear, “You have been carrying our child for two months now, yet your waist is still so thin.
”
A flirtatious undertone colored his words.
Elissa couldn’t shake off the sense of absurdity that gripped her.
