Chapter 26 Ep26
THE ROOM Falcon had been dragged into was dark. A thick coating of terror lining every inch of the room as one of Kace's lackeys shone a torch onto a small huddled figure in the corner. Falcon immediately began to struggle in desperation to get to her; pulling and twisting his arms as he growled incoherent threats.
Freya was frozen in fear. She knew who was in the room. She knew Falcon had finally found her, but she was also painfully aware of Kace's presence. It seemed hopeless at this point; what could Falcon do with Kace's men holding him back?
Kace's fingers suddenly threaded themselves through the knotted locks of her hair. The grip wasn't soft, but it didn't cause her pain either.
"Here we all are, once again," Kace sang smugly. "Some good quality time with my brother and beautiful sister-in-law."
Freya felt him crouch beside her, one hand remaining in her hair as the other reached out to grip her chin. He jerked her face up so she was forced to look in Falcon's direction.
"Don't you want to say hello to your boyfriend, little Freya?" Kace's voice grew giddy as he spoke. *MINOR TRIGGER WARNING*
Freya locked eyes with Falcon, hers brimming with tears and his own burning with quiet rage. Suddenly, Freya felt a wet sensation on the side of her neck and instantly curled up in disgust. Falcon let out an angered growl from his position across the room, ripping his arm from one of the men's grip for a moment before they both kicked him to the floor. They twisted his arms behind his back, causing a burning pain that Falcon knew all too well. He knew that if he moved, his arms would break.
It was only then that Freya registered what had happened. Kace's face was much closer to her own now and he was grinning in Falcon's direction like the Cheshire cat. He had kissed her. Freya visibly shivered as the spot his lips had touched her skin seemed to erupt with uncomfortable tingles.
She wanted to scratch at the spot, to wipe herself clean of his touch, but fear had her frozen in her position. Kace brought his hand up towards her and she flinched on reflex. His finger continuously traced the outside of her arm, from her shoulder to her elbow and it took everything in Freya not to scream.
Unable to deal with the sensation any longer, Freya shuffled away from Kace's body. She was desperate for distance between them. An eternal one. However, Freya's action seemed to sour the man's mood and the grin that had previously occupied his lips was gone in an instant. *IF YOU CANNOT READ MENTIONS OF RAPE, CONTINUE TO THE NEXT CHAPTER. "You want to do this the hard way?" he growled in her ear. "Fine. We'll do this the hard way. But it's not going to pretty, that I can promise you."
Cruel fingers suddenly wrapped themselves around Freya's bicep with an unrelenting grip, bruising her delicate skin. She let out a small cry as pain rippled through her arm and tugged at his hold, only for the pain to grow worse.
Before she could comprehend what was happening, Kace pushed her to the ground, his imposing body hovering above her. He grabbed her other arm, pushing it flat against the cement so both her wrists were plastered either side of her head.
His eyes were empty as he stared down at her. Two black, bottomless pits that instilled molten fear into Freya's blood stream. A scowl was harshly planted across his face as he roughly parted her legs with his own and settled himself between them.
"Kace," Falcon raised his voice in warning. "Don't do this."
Kace didn't remove his gaze off the girl in front of him as he answered. "Don't do what, brother?" he smiled once again. "I bet you haven't manned up yet and taken her to your bed, am I right?" Falcon growled at what he was getting at. It only increased the satisfaction that rolled off of Kace in waves. "I bet she's still as pure as the day she was born," he moved his face closer to Freya's and she pressed her cheek into the floor beneath her, trying her best to get away from him. "I bet she feels incredible."
Falcon could barely resist the urge to struggle against his restraints as Kace continued to taunt him. "You've been dreaming of it, haven't you?" he leaned down to press a sloppy kiss to the edge of Freya's jaw.
"Kace, stop," Falcon's voice began to grow desperate. Pleading.
All Falcon could do was watch in horror as Kace dragged Freya's hands above her head, capturing them in one of his own before gripping her waist in his other. The power behind his grip made Falcon wince and every cell in his body screamed at him to move. He felt so utterly helpless.
Freya snapped her eyes towards his and the tears and fear he saw brimming in them had his heart clenching painfully. He was meant to keep her safe. He was meant to protect her. Yet here he was immobilised and able to do nothing more than state at the girl he loved as his own brother began to rip her shirt open.
"Stop!" Falcon's voice broke as tears of frustration burned his eyes.
Kace feigned thinking about it for a moment before speaking once again. "I don't think I will," he kissed Freya's skin again, this time drifting further down, closer to her chest. "I quite like the idea of ruining her."
A tear slipped down from the corner of Freya's eye and Falcon let out a cry at the sight. What the fuck could he do? How the hell was he going to stop him in this position?
"Imagine all the therapy you'll need after this, beautiful," he directed his statement to Freya. "or maybe I'll be merciful to you and just make it easy."
Freya's heart skipped a beat as it thundered furiously inside her chest. Kace grinned as he lifted a hand to her neck, feeling each pulse of her racing heartbeat. "I just won't let you survive this," he murmured as he bit into the skin of her chest. "Easy."
His hand slid down from her neck, taking its time to feel each inch of skin before he came to rest right above her right breast.
"Ready or not, baby doll," he muttered in a breathless voice. "Here I come."
