Hazel had come to the party with her brother, Howard. When Yolanda invited Howard to the party, she mentioned Hazel. Hence, Howard brought Hazel along without asking if she wanted to attend the party. 

Hazel was in a very bad mood. Like Elizabeth, she did not like Yolanda at all. Ever since she was young, no matter what happened, Howard would always side with Yolanda. When Hazel was a child, she did not know any better and would just cry whenever that happened. Now that she was older, she was no longer foolish. She did not want to have anything to do with Yolanda. She would not appear in the same event as Yolanda. Her life improved only when Yolanda left for overseas. 

No one expected Yolanda to come back so quickly. 

Hazel did not care if Yolanda came back as long as they stayed clear of each other’s paths. She was displeased that Howard insisted on bringing her to this party. 

Of course, Hazel was not angry at Yolanda. She was most angry with her brother. 

She wished she could wring Howard’s ear and chide him for sucking up to Yolanda. 

However, she did not dare to tell her brother off. Howard had been poisoned by Yolanda. He would never listen to Hazel. 

If she dared to say anything bad about Yolanda, Howard would glare at her and get angry. He would also threaten to 

withhold her allowance. 

That was the reason why Hazel was at the party. She did not dare to incur Howard
