Chapter 22
As soon as I reached home, I parked Christopher's car and headed inside and upstairs to my room. All the time with my shoes and clutch in my hands. I had almost forgotten what it was like for me when I drove, especially when I speed--it felt exhilarating.
After mom had died, along with me being closed off from the rest of the world, I also started getting a few speeding tickets. Speeding was just my way to take my mind off what had happened and it helped me to forget about my original problem.
Dad wasn't impressed with me at all and he often got really mad at me. At one point Dad asked if I thought he could take losing another person that he loves. I had tried driving much slower than before since then. He did indeed have a good point.
Being angry at Christopher and speeding all the way home had got my adrenaline pumping and I definitely loved the thrill I felt by doing that. It had been a while since I've last done anything this crazy and rebellious.
After going up to my room, I took off my jewelry before putting them back into the case they were kept in. I then changed out of my dress and hung it up on a clothes rack before putting on a black tank top and a pink cotton shorts. Since I hadn't put back on my shoes when I had came out of the car, I knew that my feet were probably a bit dirty. So I went to the bathroom to get them clean under the warm running water. The water felt so good on my feet that were starting to ache from wearing six inches heels all night. I then got out and dried them before heading to the sink to clean and wash the make up off from my face and brush my teeth.
After doing all that, I dried my face with my towel before heading back into my room. I took up my hairbrush as I sat on my bed and started brushing my hair. I finally took my phone from out of my clutch for the first time in hours. I was surprised myself that even though most parts of the event--especially the speech part and business talks--were boring, I did not once took out my phone-- well, except for when Tasha and I exchanged numbers. *At least I had some principles*, I thought to myself.
There were a few messages from earlier in the evening from Tori and Bryan telling me to enjoy myself tonight. Then I saw one that made me started laughing. It was recent and sent a couple minutes before from Tasha.
**Omg Allison, Chris is gonna kill you lol. You should see how mad he is that you left him there. He got a ride with us but on the other hand, it is quite funny actually Lol Lmao :D
PS:You better runaway or hide. Better yet, let me know what color to wear to your funeral' -Tasha

'Don't worry, I think I can handle him- Alli' I texted her back.
Good for him. I didn't care if he was mad or not because I was mad first. That's how I felt when he decided to left me there in the car just to go chat with Kimberly. It was time for my payback.
The minute Christopher came home, I was immediately aware. And if I didn't believe Tasha's text which said that he was super mad, I would definitely have to believe now. From the slamming of the front door, to the stamping sounds of his feet coming upstairs and the yelling of my name, that alone would have given it all away.
"Allison! Allison! Open this door!" Christopher shouted as he banged on my bedroom door.
If he thought he was going to scare me by coming here mad, yelling, slamming and banging doors, he was sadly mistaking. I was mad first. I got up and went to the door yanking it opened with one hand while my other hand was planted on my hip. "What!?" I asked annoyed.
"You! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Christopher yelled as he barged in.
"Do not yell at me! There is nothing wrong with me. If there is anything wrong with anyone here it is you!" I yelled back at him.
"I left for a few minutes to take care of something, only to have you drove away my car leaving me there at the hotel stranded, with no drive home!" Christopher fumed.
"Well it sure as hell looks like you've found a way home to me." I said to him.
"That's not even the worst part. It's clear that you've sped all the way here and you were drinking earlier. Do you have any idea what could have happened to you?" Christopher asked angrily. "You could've met in an accident. What the hell is your problem!?"
"You know what Christopher, you! You're my damn problem!" I stormed up to him poking him in the chest.
"You left me in that damn car for more than five minutes, waiting like an idiot just so you could go and have a nice long chat and laugh with your stupid girlfriend! 'Give me a minute!' A minute he says, yet over five minutes there he was flirting, chatting it up and laughing with the b!tch!"

"I told you Kimberly isn't my girlfriend. She's just a girl that used to fool around together with, and that's all in the past. Her Dad and my Dad used to work together that's how we became friends." Christopher said grabbing my hand to stop me from jabbing him in the chest.
"You know what? I don't care who she is okay! I never asked you for your's and her life story. You should have just gone home with her for all I care, but in the future when you wanna go play catch up with your girlfriends, don't keep me waiting. Better yet, don't invite me anywhere at all, take her!" I shouted pulling away from him but Christopher grabbed my arm stopping me.
"You're jealous." Christopher said before suddenly starting to smile amusedly like a mad man.
"What!? Don't be ridiculous." I scowled at him as I tried pulling my arm from him.
"You are." he said smugly. "You pretend to hate me a lot Allison, but in fact you don't do you? You like me, don't you? That is why you drove away leaving me, because you were jealous seeing me and Kim."
"Wow, you're not only an ass but one with a massive inflated ego. I couldn't care less about you Christopher, you and Kimberly can both go ki..." I didn't get to finish my statement as Christopher lips were on mine shutting off the rest of the sentence.
I tried to pull away but he had one hand behind my head and one around my waist holding me in place so I couldn't move. I wanted to slap him or something, but my arms were trapped.
After a few moments of fighting, I finally quit struggling and somehow my brain betrayed me as it told me to start responding to his kiss. Don't ask me why but I was starting to like the feeling of his lips moving with mine. I just decided to blame all this on the champagnes I had earlier. It was like I was in a different world right now and could not be accountable for any of my actions because I hardly seemed to be noticing anything much. Pretty soon both of us tongues were dancing together. Christopher's hands were on my neck and the other running all over my back while mine were running up from his shoulder down his arms and holding onto his biceps through his jacket.
Next thing I knew was that, I was laying on my bed with Christopher hovering over me as we continued making out. Christopher had somehow taken off my shirt in the process, leaving me in only my bra and shorts. He began placing small kisses and sucking slightly on my neck and on my collarbone. My eyes were closed, as I laid there running my fingers through his now messy hair and enjoying the feeling of his lips on my skin. Christopher had kissed his way back up from my collarbone up to my neck and to my lips again. It wasn't until I felt something poking my thigh that I snapped out of it.
Whatever poked my thigh was definitely not there before and I think I had a pretty good idea of what that was. I wasn't ready for that or anything else that could occur tonight, so it was best if I snapped out of it before it was too late.

"Mmhm, no no no." I said breathing hard as I pulled my lips from his and pushed his chest.
"What's... What's wrong?" Christopher asked breathing hard as well, as we were both breathless from making out.
"I am not ready for this." I said causing Christopher to get up from over me.
"I'm sorry I didn't know, I thought..." Christopher started to explain but I cut him off.
"No, it's fine. I'm just kinda tired right now, you should go." I said taking up my discarded top and putting it back on. "We'll talk tomorrow okay?"
"Alright." Christopher said getting off the bed. "Goodnight then Allison, I'll see you in the morning."
"Goodnight Christopher." I smiled slightly at him.
"Yeah, tomorrow." Christopher smiled back before walking out of my room closing the door behind him.
I flopped back on my bed with my head on the pillow letting out a big sigh.
Was I going to be able to face Christopher tomorrow normally? Especially after everything that had recently happened?
