Miles woke startled. He lifted his head and realized that he must have fallen asleep at the computer. His head ached from having slept on his keyboard. He looked to make sure that it was still working.

Satisfied, he looked at the screen. Not quite remembering what he wrote. The last thing he could remember writing was the story of Jake Mackenzie, but he must have nodded off shortly after that. He looked down at his cold cup of coffee. No way he was going to drink that.

He opened the file, 2513 and began scrolling down. He looked in confusion as he scrolled page after page. He did not remember writing most of it, but yet it was there. A complete manuscript.

He moved his head to the side as the line from Dickens softly spoke to him, “The spirits did it, and all in one night!”

He opened up a browser window to upload the saved story to send off the manuscript when he noticed that there was another word document open. Curious, he opened it up and looked in amazement as he read the document name…
