#13 The Dragon King and his Werewolf Princess

Chapter 28 "Emerald Forest Pack"

“What do you mean you can’t do anything yet?” King Sebastian snapped harshly at the pregnant Luna.

Queen Stella placed her hand on his chest, calming him down, while Luna Harlow’s three Alphas surrounded her protectively.

“I’m sorry, your highness, but the Moon Goddess hasn’t given me permission to act yet. She said that she’ll tell me what to do and when to do it when the time is right. I promise you, your daughter is safe and you will see her again.” Luna Harlow said in a sweet voice.

“I apologize for my tone, Luna Harlow.” King Sebastian sighed.

“It’s alright. I understand that you’re upset.” Luna Harlow smiled.

“Explain it to us again.” King Alexander said,

“She’s in the dragon realm, which was sealed off a thousand years ago to protect everyone. The humans were killing dragons and dark dragons had taken control. I’m a descendant of one of the few remaining dark dragons who weren’t killed in the final assault before the realm was sealed. I have dragon fire in my veins which is what will allow me to bring down the walls between our realm and the dragon realm.” Luna Harlow explained.

“And what does River have to do with any of this?” Queen Stella asked.

“I don’t know. All I know is she’s with her mate.”

Stella took a deep breath and looked at her mates,

“We shouldn’t be so worried. Our daughter is strong and capable, she’s a Storm and a princess of the realm. And, she’s with her mate.” Stella said,

“Her dragon mate.” Sebastian clarified, looking at his Queen like she was crazy.

“He’s still her mate.” Stella snapped at him.

“Stella’s right, we need to have faith in our daughter and in the matebond.” Alexander nodded, wrapping his arm around Stella’s waist.

“The Moon Goddess and the Dragon Goddess are taking care of them. They won’t let anything happen to River.” Harlow said,

“No, they’ll just send her to a foreign realm before she’s even had the chance to shift without so much as a warning.” Sebastian scoffed, annoyed.

“Ian.” Stella sighed at her mate, touching his arm gently.

Sebastian released a heavy breath before leaning down to kiss his Queen gently,

“I’m sorry, love, I just need a minute.” He said before leaving the office.

“He’ll be fine, he just needs to cool off.” Alexander said to the room of concerned faces.

Stella shook her head at her retreating mate and returned her attention to the room.

“Alphas.” She smirked, looking at Harlow.

“Couldn’t agree more.” Harlow laughed in agreement, “You’re all welcome to stay here until I get word from the Moon Goddess to open the realm.”

“We would appreciate that, thank you, Luna Harlow.” Stella nodded.

“Right this way.” One of the triplet Alphas said, directing the King and Queen to their guest suite.
