Chapter 982
Chapter 982
Ten minutes later, Aurora slumped on the bed in fatigue. Theodore wiped the corner of her lips with his hand.
"Aurora, why must you do this?"
"Theo, I'm willing to do anything for you."
Aurora's cheeks were flushed as she looked coyly at Theodore. She enjoyed doing so for him, anything that he wanted.
She knew he was a normal, healthy man-a young and fit one, at that. How could he possibly resist her?
"Aurora, go to sleep. I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow."
Aurora nodded. "Okay, Theo. Will you still go next door for the night?"
Theodore sighed and thought back on what happened earlier.
Since things had come to this point, it didn't make much of a difference whether he went next door to sleep. It was unnecessary.
With that thought in mind, Theodore laid down next to Aurora and pulled her into his arms.
"Theo," Aurora whispered shyly into his ear. "I want it, too."
Theodore lifted a hand and gently caressed her cheek. His hand slowly slid downwards.
Given Aurora's heart condition, he didn't dare go too rough with her.
In the deep of the night, the villa stood quiet and mysterious, enveloped in darkness. Moonlight shone through the thick leaves of the tree onto the grass and cast a shadow on it.
In the background, the branches swayed in the breeze and murmured lowly like nature's symphony.
Aurora was sleeping soundly on the bed, her long hair scattered on the white pillow like a waterfall in the night, silky yet tumultuous.
Her face was white as snow and her
lips were open slightly in a smile Her brows were arched, as if she were pursuing a beautiful vision in her dreams while savoring the sweet memories of the night.
Seizing the chance while Aurora was asleep, Theodore carefully got out of bed. He tenderly pulled the sheets over her and lovingly planted a soft kiss on her lips.
The air hung heavily in the room. Darkness engulfed it; the moonlight shining in through the windows was the only thing that outlined the silhouette of the room.
Theodore sat at Aurora's bedside, his figure cutting a dark and deep shadow in the room.
His features were sharp and defined, the lines on his face hard and firm as granite. He looked like a sculpture exuding the maturity and restraint of a grown man.
However, his brows were tightly knitted. Worry and helplessness were etched on his face. His eyes were deep in thought. Pent-up frustrations and inner turmoil in his heart as he sat in the darkness. FindNovel
His fists were clenched so hard, his knuckles turned white as helplessness overwhelmed him.
He glanced at the woman on the bed, his eyes filled with mixed feelings tinged with pain and helplessness.
He did care for Aurora, perhaps even more so than he did Cynthia.
He even admitted that he liked Aurora a little.
How could he not, when she loved him with all her heart?

He didn't know how to take responsibility for Aurora.
Should he marry her?
But that wasn't fair to Aurora. He still couldn't let go of his feelings for Rosalie.
Even if he married Aurora, he wouldn't be able to love her like a man loved his wife.
Would that bit of affection and pity sustain the marriage?
His visions of his future were bleak. He didn't know how things would go from here, and everything he did right now was out of foolish stupidity.
