Chapter Benson 227
Chapter 227 Connectiona
Benson’s expronaton was serious, his eyen refloating deep thought.
He understood Yvonne’s personality well, especially knowing that with Andrew absent, she wouldn’t easily give up on taking care of Bella.
Therefore, he decided to patiently wait for Andrew’s return, using the time to calm himself and better control the situation.
“Yvonne, come with me. I’ll nee Steven, and you can meet Olivia.”
Benson’s voice carried a hint of both suggestion and concern.
His tone wasn’t forceful but rather laced with a subtle Invitation.
He knew this offer would be a huge temptation for Yvonne, aware that it might bring unexpected developments.
Yvonne’s breath quickened, her surprise evident.
She had longed to meet Olivia and learn about her life over the years.
Now, her heart raced, her eyes sparkling with hope..
She gently bit her lip, her gaze filled with a mix of disbelief and excitement.
“Do you want to go?” Benson’s voice held a teasing note, his eyes fixed on Yvonne’s face, eagerly awaiting her response.
“Yes,” Yvonne replied firmly, her voice brimming with determination and anticipation.
Olivia.
Her eyes shone brightly, as if she could already envision the moment of reunion with Oliv
“Alright then, but first, let me hold you a bit longer.”
Benson’s tone was playful as he reached out, lifting Yvonne and settling her on his lap.
She sat astride his waist, his hands gently holding her by the thighs, tilting his head back to meet her gaze. His actions were filled with tenderness and affection, as if in their world, only the two of them existed. “Benson, can you stop being so shameless?”
Yvonne’s voice was tinged with a mix of helplessness and teasing, her cheeks flushed slightly, though her eyes betrayed a hint of warmth.
She lightly tapped his shoulder, as if protesting his behavior, yet her heart was filled with a gentle warmth.
“I think being shameless suits me better. It’s so hard to make you accept me.”
Benson’s tone was a blend of rogulshness and affection as he leaned in to kiss her lips.
The kiss was full of heat and emotion, as if he was pouring all his feelings into it.
Yvonne’s heart raced, the warmth of the kiss mingling with her own emotions, making her feelings even more complicated.
The flight from Mesquite to Goodsprings took over three hours.
The plane flew through the night sky, the stars outside twinkling as if adding a touch of mystery and romance to the journey.
The cabin lights were soft, the air filled with a faint fragrance, creating a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere.
Yvonne gazed out the window, her heart filled with anticipation for the upcoming reunion.
As the plane gradually descended, Yvonne’s heartbent quickened.
She was filled with a mix of emotions about meeting Slaven and Olivia–expectation, anxiety, and a touch of nervousness.
Her eyes scanned the cabin before finally resting on Benson, a wave of gratitude washing over her.
They arrived at a luxurious villa located in the heart of the city.
The villa was nestled within a private ostate surrounded by lush greenery.
Through the large floor–to–ceiling windows, they could take in the bustling cityscape outside.
The villa’s design blend modern and traditional American styles, with every detail reflecting the owner’s extraordinary wealth and refined taste.
The spacious living room, exquisite fireplace, and carefully chosen furniture all exuded a sense of comfort and elegance.
In the garden, neatly trimmed lawns and well–arranged flowerbeds created a harmonious contrast.
Stone paths wound through the landscape, creating a peaceful and private living environment.
Steven’s wealth was unmistakably evident.
When Steven saw Yvonne and Benson arriving together, a look of surprise crossed his face.
“I thought I’d be coming alone, but with Yvonne…”
Steven’s voice carried a hint of mockery as his eyes swept over Yvonne, then he chuckled softly.
His smile had a touch of sarcasm, as if he were watching an unexpected drama unfold.
“Can I see Olivia?”
Yvonne’s voice held a trace of eagerness and urgency; she was eager to meet Olivia and learn about her life over the years.
“You’re already here. If I don’t let you see her, I’d come across as petty and unreasonable.”
Steven waved for a servant to bring Olivia over.
A flash of indifference passed through Steven’s eyes, clearly showing that he wasn’t overly thrilled by Yvonne’s presence.
When Olivia saw Yvonne, her eyes lit up with excitement, and she immediately rushed forward to embrace her.
Her movements were filled with urgency and joy, as if she wanted to release all the longing she had felt during their time apart.
She held Yvonne’s hand tightly, tears glistening in her eyes, her voice trembling as she said, “Yvonne, you’re finally here! I’ve been so lonely all these years.”
Olivia pulled Yvonne towards the study.
After Yvonne and Olivia left, Steven turned to Benson, his eyes probing.
“Mr. Benson, can you tell me why you’ve spent so much money causing me trouble? What’s your purpose?”
Steven’s eyes senthired Benson, trying to discern hi ue intentions.
Olivia’s cold indifference towarda Ronson made love realize that there was no emotional entanglement between Benson and Olivia.
On the other hand, Benson’s concem for Yvonne was early greater than his interest in Olivia.
This left Steven even more puzzled what was Henson’s real goal, and why was he willing to pay such a high price to take Olivia away from him?
“What’s my purpose? Denson leisurely lit a cigarette, his posture relaxed, as if he wasn’t in a hurry to
answer.
His eyes hold a calm confidence, and his lips curled into a slight smile, as if he was enjoying the suspense of revealing the truth.
“I didn’t come here because of Olivia.” Denson’s tone whe steady.
“So instead of asking about that, why don’t you tell me where Sol in? Is he dead or alive?”
Benson’s words sent a jolt through Steven.
He realized that Benson’s true target wasn’t Olivia–it wan Sol.
Steven’s expression shifted slightly, his suspicions deepening. Could there be an even bigger nobret behind Benson’s plan?
Steven stroked his chin, a flicker of doubt in his eyes.
“That’s my trump card. If I tell you, you’ll definitely take her away.”
Steven’s gaze turned cold and serious, with a hint of murderous intent.
He wouldn’t allow anyone to take Olivia away from him; this had become his bottom line.
His eyes were like cold frost, piercing through layers of deception, directly confronting Benson.
But Benson simply smiled, appearing calm and confident.
“Mr. Steven, since we don’t trust each other, let me propose a win–win solution… You don’t have to get a divorce, and I can take Olivia to Las Vegas.”
Steven’s Interest was piqued, his eyebrows raising slightly, a trace of curiosity in his eyes.
“Oh, there’s such a good solution? Why are you so determined to take her? What’s your ro “To confirm something.”
